Due to the additional dollars, the district will be receiving, and we will be able to provide more technology, restore our summer school program for students in grades 1 through 8, and hire five clinical social workers to address the ever-increasing social-emotional needs of our students. This budget demonstrates the great things that can be accomplished when the Mayor, City Council, School Committee and Superintendent work in collaboration and harmony to ensure that our students receive the best educational opportunities possible," said Richard W.
