Where: at Stefanik School, 20 Meadow Street, Chicopee

Volunteers are not required to have previous training, and anyone can volunteer; opportunities are open to all! Food and refreshments will be provided to volunteers. There are both direct service and non-direct service opportunities available, such as:
• Building the playscape,
• Manning the registration table,

• And, clean-up crew at the end.
“Volunteers play a dynamic role making safe play spaces like this come true,” said Mayor Richard Kos, “and we are always grateful for the caring, compassionate people that join us in carrying out that mission.”
This playscape was made possible through monies from the City of Chicopee, and private organizations; these include the Chicopee Department of Parks and Recreation, City Community Development Block Grant Resources, Chicopee Fest-of-All, KaBoom!™ Grant of $15,000, and $1,800 from a GoFundMe from Stefanik School.
