Mission Statement

The mission of the Chicopee Fire Department is to provide the residents, businesses and visitors of the City of Chicopee with efficient and effective fire protection, fire prevention programs and emergency medical services.

Fire Chief Burkott wishes to reiterate the International Association of Fire Chiefs safety message "change your clock, change your battery" as a reminder to change your smoke detector batteries when you change your clocks in the spring and fall.
