The City of Chicopee Water Department preserves and maintains the City's Water Distribution System, including fire hydrants, underground piping, storage tanks, pumping stations and treatment/monitoring facilities.
Our mission is to provide the residents and businesses of Chicopee with safe drinking water and fire protection.

Water Main relocation is scheduled to begin 8-9-10. Residents are advised to seek alternate routes as traffic delays are to be expected
Water Department Addendum effective June 1, 2010
The fees for quarterly meter rental charge, approved by the Board of Water Commissioners at the meeting of August 8, 2007, will be reinstated June 1, 2010. (See "documents and forms" for fees)
