Our mission is to provide the residents and businesses of Chicopee with safe drinking water and fire protection.

Duties & Responsibilities

The City of Chicopee Water Department preserves and maintains the City's Water Distribution System including:

•     Fire hydrants
•     Pumping stations
•     Storage tanks
•     Treatment/monitoring facilities
•     Underground piping
