Human Resources

The Human Resources Department is committed to providing the City of Chicopee's municipal employees a safe, positive and productive work environment.  We are responsible for hiring and filling positions, responding to the needs of the City workforce, address issues in a supportive and fair manner and administer the City policies and procedures.

Human Resources is also responsible for updating, maintaining and distributing workplace conduct guidelines and municipal policies, resolving conflicts, providing employees with outside or third party guidance when necessary and schedule activities to promote teamwork and cooperation.
